Build for the Admin Who Comes After You

Even if you built the org today as part of a 50-person digital transformation, think about who will be running it in five years.

There is a good chance it won't be the architects, lead developers, or consulting team anymore.

It might be a couple of Admins trying their best to keep the lights on.

They may not be comfortable with Git, they may never open your architecture diagrams and your Confluence pages may look like hieroglyphics to them.

Design your Salesforce Org for that future.

• Use clear names.
• Keep Automation simple.
• Reduce unnecessary complexity.
• Document where people actually look.

Because one day, someone you have never met will inherit your org.

Make sure they can succeed.
