Nobody would buy the fastest car in the world if it randomly exploded every few kilometers

Yet in Salesforce, we prioritize feature-rich over stability constantly. New Objects, new Automations, another Integration bolted on, another App from the AppExchange. All in the name of "advanced."

Meanwhile the Org gets less stable. Fields nobody trusts. Flows that conflict with each other. Reports that give different numbers depending on who runs them.

Here is the part nobody wants to admit: a Sales or Service User does not care how advanced your Org is. They care whether it works today, right now, while they are on a call with a customer.

Give that User a system that is clean, predictable and a little too simple, and they will get their job done. Give them a system that is packed with capability but breaks in unpredictable ways, and they will build workarounds, stop trusting the data and eventually avoid the platform altogether.

Stability is not the boring version of advanced. Stability is the precondition for advanced to matter at all. A Feature nobody trusts is not a Feature. It is friction.

This is the whole argument for spending capacity on cleanup, not just capability. A clean, slightly simple Org beats a powerful, unstable one every single time.
