I think Salesforce is living two futures at once.
One is loud: Agentforce, Agents talking to Agents, Headless architectures, a whole new CX where the customer or user may never click a button you designed. Nobody can say exactly where it lands. That's what makes it exciting.
The other is quiet: turning fifteen years of digital transformation into something stable. Fewer Profiles. Readable Apex. Flows you can explain in one sentence. Orgs that have good UX. Bugs that are squashed.
Boring sounds like the opposite of the AI story. I think it's the precondition for it. An Agent still runs on top of your Org. It inherits your Sharing Model, your Permission Sets, the trigger nobody dares touch. The wild future needs solid ground to land on.
Not two competing priorities. Two tracks, running in parallel.
