Everyone races toward more AI but there is another frontier just as important, and it barely has a stage. Running an Org well, the whole package, from right sized Architecture to UX people do not need training for, to real innovation, to the boring stuff underneath like tooling and documentation that is still true a year later.
This is not either or. Both matter. But AI gets all the attention while well run stays invisible, and invisible work does not get budget no matter how much value it creates.
Here is the part that makes the "Well Run Org" frontier different: We know what's to do, we already know what a well run Org looks like. This is not a research problem, it is a priority problem.
For that to change, "Well Run Orgs" needs to professionalize. Same visibility, same case studies, same stage time that AI gets. I would love to see the community give "Well Run Orgs" the spotlight it deserves.
PS: Over the last months I get to know so many people who are living and "Well Run Org". love it
