Today's cleanup trick: Everything that's Inactive must Go

By , Salesforce CTA·1 min read·First shared on LinkedIn,

Inactive Workflows. Deactivated Validation Rules. Old Flow versions just sitting there. Email Templates nobody's sent in years. And so much more, scattered across every corner of your Org.

Salesforce is not your metadata backup. That's what Git is for. If you're keeping inactive stuff around "just in case," it's already safe in version control, so there's no reason for it to keep cluttering the org itself.

What you gain: an org that's actually easier to read, with no inactive debris distracting from what's actually running today.

As always: Before you remove anything: take a backup, align with the business, and check for any references in your implementation.

PS: Thanks Frank Geschke for sharing this one with me!
